Cavs: Embarrassing S-KYRIE-IRVING-large

We thought no one would bring up that game. We thought it would be just another game. We were in the clear until Cyrisnyte made an insider. Now most GMs know. Kyrie was embarrassed by his performance. His teammates joked with him on how he let the 5’9 (and thats a little exaggerated) grab 16 BOARDS on him. Of course, it wasn’t Kyrie’s fault as most of them were defensive boards but 16 is an absurd number. Kyrie said:

Many of my teammates gave me a lot of **** for letting him grab 16 rebounds on me. I deserve most of their jokes. I laugh with them because he grabbed more rebounds than my PF and C combined. We’re just moving on from that game. Sometimes you gotta just laugh it off and move on. I remember Caron coming up to me in the locker room after the game and just told me to keep my head up and he’s right. Thomas is a damn good player. There is a reason he is the starting PG on the 2 time defending champions. Just wait. Next time we play, expect a BIG game for me.

Although there was a lot of clowning on each other in the locker room, these players love each other and love playing for one another. When I first came in as GM a few days ago, the players were not too happy. I remember Kyrie being sad because the previous GM didn’t think he was worth the max. The only thing that matter is he is happy(14 million reasons why) and our other players are happy. We are taking each game one by one. Our guys are back to having fun again at practice and playing hard for us in games. That’s what its all about. Giving your all.

I hope you know Rob, I meant no disrespect from my article. Kyrie is a top notch player and trust me, I would have went after him in FA this summer. Just found it funny that the Mighty Might Thomas managed 16 rebounds.

You have a cornerstone player in Kyrie and I'm sure you will find the players you need via trade/draft/FA to take your team to the next level.

Rebounding is wacky in this sim engine anyways so I wouldn't read too much into it. I can't see it happening too often that a point guard, let alone one as diminutive in size as Thomas, will do that again this season.
