Re: Trade Chatter
aaah by the way, I like the trade for Dallas too..
A team Parker - Mathews - DeRozan - Poythress - Vucevic isnt a bad one.
Maybe he should move Mathews for a real SF, but he should be way better compared to last year.

Good trade for both teams. I like how Dallas looks coming out of that. Tony Parker is a little bit happier today.

Thought the same and we really considered trading down, but with all those New Managers and especially jestor back on board, you never know how the draft goes. DeMar and Hill wouldnt have seen any minutes anyway and the market for them wasnt big as well.
So its for us a trade vucevic + Atlantas first (with BI going all in, or not? You never know if you talk about bi ) for #6 + young. Im fine with it. Especially because I like young really hard and tried to get him already last year.
If I didn't have this epiphany last nige I woulda loved the trade cause I know your focus is drafting Len, it just occurred to me Bennett + Vucevic is a better option:
Schroder Demar Wallace (or FA SF) Bennett Vucevic
I just really like that moving forward as a foundation.
Not a bad deal though man.
I dunno, Vuc has a year left and is about to get paid. I feel Len/Young/whoever they get with #6 is better, especially since it looks like they'll have cap space.
Yeah I realize he's about to get paid but that's what you gotta do, pay the players who you feel deserve to get paid and I feel the better ones deserve it.
Was strictly speaking in terms of who I see as the better pairing:
Bennett/ Vucevic vs Young/ Len then basically DeRozan on a cheap salary vs #6

Re: Trade Chatter
Len and Young are a solid pairing in Boston, and Dallas nabbing Vucevic as opposed to making a (probably) blind pick makes perfect sense for him. Good trade for both teams.

Re: Trade Chatter
What I just noticed, maybe Dylan or Myles should check that!..
I checked if Dallas owns his next years first, and they do, at least looking at the index. But with getting back this years pick on the other hand they dont.. Does this trade breake the consecutive rule or not? Didnt notice that before, Im sorry.. Should I change "#6 pick" into "rights to #6"?
sounds confusing, I know, I hope you got what I want to say..

Yeah it will have to be a draft and trade, so you'll have to re-post the trade after Dallas drafts at #6. So you just tell him who to draft.

Re: Trade Chatter
Interesting deal. We took a good look at Vucevic but with the growth he had left and already being 24 years old, I wasn't confident he would reach it. Then he's up for a big deal this off season too.
Solid deal for both though.

Re: Trade Chatter
Agree, Dallas doesn't have their pick and Parker/Matthews/Vucevic is a very solid trio. I'm curious to see how Zeller develops, I liked his skillset coming out of the draft.
Boston now has #2, #6 and a core PG along with assets moving forward.
Win-win.

Re: Trade Chatter
So in the GSW-MIA deal, did they just swap expiring big men while the Heat gained a first?

Haha, yeah. Randolph will be an All-Star next season now.
This doesn't seem too crazy to me, Chandler is a nice compliment to Lee in the front court for GSW and I'm not so sure I wouldn't pay a mid 1st to have Chandler over Randolph. MIA has Splitter and Hawes to man the C and still has Randolph, Wright and Jones III that he needs to get minutes to at PF.

I don't think it is a bad deal by any means. I just don't have contract info in front of me.

Re: Trade Chatter
So GS have Kanter/Dieng at C and Lee/Robinson at PF. Not sure why they gave up a 17th pick to add another C... unless a few of these guys are going to be traded

Re: Trade Chatter
Well, there goes Miami's 3peat*
I think every team in the East should be smiling a bit more after this move as it weakens their frontcourt defensively as Chandler is underappreciated.
This move gained salary in an effort to lose salary as they now search for a GM to help their finances by taking on Z Bo. Not sure the 17th pick was worth it but when you're the 2x champions you can take the risk.
I think GS got better though they now have a logjam that may hurt player development.

Let's black ball OP as a league and refuse to trade for Randolph...

This is what my scouts show for Kemba, if anyone has a radically different variance let me know.

I'll just say your scout sees him as a lot better than mine does. Can't post the image because of the stupid 7 day waiting period, which is the dumbest thing I've ever seen on a forum.

Re: Trade Chatter
Trey Burke for Michael Carter-Williams.
Book it.
As for the Suns Hawks deal, not sure either way honestly though it looks better for Phoenix as they now have Porter McGary duo, should be nice.
For Atlanta the carousel continues, not sure how McGary's Stop% became worrisome, initially he was seen as a savior in the Conley deal.
Atlanta should secure a SG or SF, any wing player to build around to bring some stability to that team unless they're gonna try to beat East teams on the inside with Smith Monroe. That said Walker Smith Monroe is pretty decent just need one guy to fit in there with em.

It sure is, maybe the scouts have different letter grades for their ratings similar to coaches.

Re: Trade Chatter
What's the record of max games a player has played for BI and the Hawks?
If anyone lasts 3-4 months he should get his jersey retired!! LMAO
This is how I see Kemba: My coaches rarely see any upgrade on any player,

Sorry about that. I have absolutely no idea how to change that. It's not something we set.
