Amare Stoudemire Ready To Compete

After trading away young big man Enes Kanter for the Dallas Mavericks guaranteed lottery pick, the Warriors have struck another deal. This time, the team decided to flip that Mavs' pick to Charlotte in order to bring in 31-year old veteran Amare Stoudemire. Since the departure of Kanter, the team has had both starters Tyler Hansbrough and Brook Lopez logging 40 minutes apiece on the depth chart. There wasn't really anyone behind them capable of making a significant impact off the bench. That has now changed. Psycho T looks to return to his 6th man role while we will see Amare join Lopez in the frontcourt. In order to get the trade finalized, the team went all out, willing to include their 2017 1st rounder just to get the deal signed and done. Golden State sent Andrei Kirilenko packing as well, in order to match finances. Amare hopes to make his first ever CSL playoff appearance with the team.

There are the Warriors rotations throughout HiGrade's tenure as GM. As you can see, the Harrison Barnes deal brought a great amount of depth to the backcourt, proving to be pivotal. Obviously Rotation I is the inherited roster, which never saw a game during the regular season, as the trades were made during the offseason. We will likely never know what the "best" rotation could or would have been. In light of the devastating Chandler injury, several moves were made in an effort to win this year. If Tyson never went down, would Stephen Curry still be in a Warrior uniform ? How many games would that squad have won together ? Tyson ignited a domino effect with possibly no end in sight. Regardless of what becomes of this season, this team has plenty to look forward to next year once Chandler makes his return to the court. Will we ever see the frontcourt rotation of Chandler-Lopez-Amare ? We won't know until the offseason but for now, vote for which rotation you think is the best thus far.

Amare can be a nice big, but sometimes he will completely shut down defensively. You're making it tough for me to gain ground in our division, especially with Westbrook out.

You've got two gifted scorers down low, but neither of them are great defenders. I think that could come back to bite you guys in the playoffs.
