Amare Stoudemire signs in Charlotte
Amare Stoudemire will return to Charlotte for his second stint with the Bobcats, on a three year, $23 million deal, for around $8 million per year.
"It's a great opportunity for me here in Charlotte. Being my second stint here I know the organization and I'm excited to be back."
Amare averaged around 16 points and 7 rebounds per game last season as a member of the Lakers.

Sessions, Dragic, MKG, Amare, Varejao is a really graet line up, no doubt.
Even forgot Evans.

I now see why Amare turned down my 2.5M/yr offer.
Solid pickup for Charlotte. That team's starting to look good even without Kobe.

Damn. Think I had a good chance until Charlotte came around. Would have been an absolute steal.
We offered him the $5mil MLE for 4 years.

Thrilled with this signing! I know other teams have more star power, but I'm very happy with the depth that we have. I think we're a solid 10 deep.
PG - Sessions / Marshall
SG - Evans / Dragic
SF - MKG / Azubuike
PF - Stoudemire / Sullinger
C - Varejao / Asik
We're going to get out and run. I have the playmakers, passing and handling to open the court wide up. My bench should be able to keep a scoring edge while my starters are out as well.

No doubt, your team is deep like hell. But I believe I would let Marshall start ahead of Sessions, just dont like Ramons HDL.
But god damn, I ranked you at #8 in my powerranking? Should have waited, I believe the #3 seed is possible, like you said there is no real star on your team but it looks like a team that fits together perfectly! Like said, I love teams like that, the SA style is just the best.

Re: Amare Stoudemire signs in Charlotte
Well, I don't mind Ramon's HDL as much. I'm going to reduce the amount he drives and amp his 3pt shooting considerably. If he's camping and knocking down threes, combined with his high PAS, I think he'll be more valuable in the starting unit due to his ability to spread the floor. The less he's driving, hopefully, the less his turnovers.
Kendall is going to lead the 2nd unit and I project he'll get roughly 20 minutes per night. We'll be running at a fast pace, so Marshall/Dragic/Azubuike/Sullinger should rain down efficient offensive terror while Asik anchors the post for my second unit. Kinda like having Marshall in charge of that.
EDIT: Just realized that Sessions, Dragic and Evans are all on the top 10 turnovers per game list..... hahaha! Interesting.

Good pickup. We would have gone after him if we didn't sign Seraphin.

Re: Amare Stoudemire signs in Charlotte
Asik + Sullinger is a great second frontcourt unit, really like it.
And the rest of the rotation is also really deep. Having Marshall as a backup is a luxury!
I prefer this type of teams, without maybe less star power as you call it, as it helps other players step up and develop into CSL stars.
Willing to match up against your team, it looks like it will be a fun game to 'watch'

Re: Amare Stoudemire signs in Charlotte
Great gameplan. As long as you are not running into heavy full court pressure it should work great and if it doesnt you can tweak your rotation/tactic. You really have the players to change the gameplan by 180 degrees if needed. Will be great during playoffs.
Edit:
Yeah, Goran averaging so many TOs was because I played high pace basketball with him at PG. He really struggles protecting the ball playing uptempo basketball

Re: Amare Stoudemire signs in Charlotte
Unless you're going to run uptempo offense, Dragic should be fine. Dragic averaged 4.6 TOs in 38mpg with Boston, only 2.2 in 27mpg with us (plus he shot much better too) last season. I think you'll be pretty happy with Dragic.Sun Scorched (CHA) wrote:EDIT: Just realized that Sessions, Dragic and Evans are all on the top 10 turnovers per game list..... hahaha! Interesting.
