Re: CSL PG Battle
I would be happy with any of these guys. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love to have a good point guard on the floor.

Re: CSL PG Battle
Yes, like I said I like his ability to counter a zone defense by himself and his efficiency/playmaking make him preferable for my team. Wall is a much better defender and like I said in our conversation Wall is a great guard in his own right. You pointed out Barnes and Vesley are similar value due to both of them being 3.5 stars so we differ some in player evaluation which is fine. Everyone has their opinion.Querejeta (WAS) wrote:blackice (ATL) wrote:I'd say Griffin is as good as Wall

I didn't say anything like that, infact i told you i was interested in Barnes. But Blake is clearly better than everyone of them. And Wall is just the closer one.
Re: CSL PG Battle
I also evaluated players using stars previosly but now I see that this willl not get you anywhere... look at Derrick Williams at 3.5 stars and I'll take 2 star Korver over him any day. Even Lillard is only 3.5 last I checked

Re: CSL PG Battle
Ah, perhaps someone else was using your account then. No worries, I thought a saw a Vesley, and a future WAS and GSW 1st for Barnes but maybe I'm reading it wrong. Whoever was using your account justified it by saying "they are both 3.5 stars" so you should consider changing your password.Querejeta (WAS) wrote:blackice (ATL) wrote: You pointed out Barnes and Vesley are similar value due to both of them being 3.5 stars

First of all i think you cannot tell others the offer you got via PM but even if that was possible what you can never do is to make up a story you probably dreamt! Vesely isn't a 3,5 stars and wouldn't even compare him with Barnes, anyway you did a terrible trade and now you have no DMC no Barnes no nothing! LOL

Re: CSL PG Battle
I'd love to see Lillard's raw shooting attributes. Unless the scoring is broken in this sim engine like we've discussed before, his raw ratings must be off the charts.

There doesn't seem to be a "complete" floor general. By that, I mean there doesn't seem to be a two-way, pass/defend type guard. That player would be awesome. Perhaps Boris Dallo will be that?
Lawson fits that description though he isn't a dominant player or anything like that. I'd put Conley in that category if he gets back to form with the Heat.
What about Rondo? And maybe Schröder (if he ever is able to play what his potentials are predicting he could be, though he will never be a General like Marshall or José)..

You're right, dennis, Rondo and Schroeder fit that bill, but their shots are sooooo busted. I don't need a guard who scores, just want one who can shoot. I don't care if their SCR rating is 30 and they never take a shot.

Re: CSL PG Battle
sorry I am a bit confused - you guys talk so highly about Marshall and Calderon purely because of their ratings or did they actually achieve something in CSL?

Ratings. Their studs from a PAS/HDL/DI/IQ perspective. Though obviously, both suck at defense.

Yeah no doubt, they are by far no great shooters, but in the case of Schröder I believe he still has some potentials left for Jumpers and Inside. (I know you can look it up as an Admin, if he hasnt feel free to give me a hint, no hint will be recognized as potentials left ) Though Schröder will never be a great passer like Rondo, no doubt.
And yeah, the PG you describe I like the most too. Dallo seems to be exactly that type of Point. Can see him joining Charlotte this draft:P

HDL + Pass + low SCR + DI + IQ ratings

Re: CSL PG Battle
Rondo is in another class despite his FG%. He's a star but like SS said his outside shooting is weak. Unreal playmaking/defense though. Schroder has that potential but it's too early to tell where he ends up. He reminds me of Jrue a bit, but Jrue is a sick shooter.Dennis (BOS) wrote:blackice (ATL) wrote:Sun Scorched (CHA) wrote:People talk about this position being "stacked" - what I think that really means is there is a ton of scoring from the PG spot. Dude, you tried to put me on blast saying "And then you value Curry better than Wall??!! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing" which would imply that came out of a PM conversation we had, yes? Anyway, I apologize for my part in this unfortunate back and forth. Tell whoever is using your account I'm sorry as well. As for me making up a story you caught me I made it all up, please forgive me sir as I know not what I say and tell "Blake over everything" to have mercy on my team next we play.
