Re: Regular Season - Sim 58
3/2 - Minnesota Timberwolves, 94 @ San Antonio Spurs, 72
Kevin Love - 25 points, 22 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 block
Ben McLemore - 14 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist
Jeremy Lin - 13 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals
Very little to write home about in this game other than Kevin Love's stellar play. We forced them to shot 33% from the field, which is a good sign, but 43% from us is still too low. Love was a monster with another 20/20 game, and I can only home he continues to play this way and return to form, but Marc Gasol continues to struggle from lack of attempts. It seems Love is getting in the way of his scoring, so I may have to stagger their minutes to get them on the floor at different times. Cauley was good as I've come to expect, but Singler was horrendous shooting 1 of 7.
3/3 - Minnesota Timberwolves, 75 @ New Orleans Pelicans, 92
Chandler Parsons - 20 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal
Kevin Love - 19 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal
Marc Gasol - 13 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 3 blocks
This game can be summed up in one word: ugly. We shot 31% and they shot 38%, and their saving grace being Marcus Smart's ridiculous 20 free throws. He dominated the game by getting to the line and the only people who even put up a fight for us were Gasol, Love, and Parsons. In hindsight, I probably should have zoned them to force Smart to shoot from the outside rather than driving, but oh well, I didn't really expect to beat them on the road anyway.
Well, we came out of the 2 game road trip 1-1, which is what I expected. Next sim we go to San Antonio again. Have to start stringing some wins together.

2 tough losses against Hou and Was... We needed these wins badly. Our playoff hopes are slowly dieing. Brooklyn is killing while we are winning every other game. We need to play harder and with more urgency. We cant have a game with 7TOs from one player and expect to win.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 58
Got a win against the Bucks.
It was a great game for Jeff Teague against his former team as he went for 33 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists on 9-20 shooting and 15-24 from the free throw line...struggled a bit from the line but damn he got to it at will. Fouled out Andrew Harrison in 19 minutes, got DJ Augustin 5 in 27 minutes...Just torching the Milwaukee guards.
Bogut had a great game with 18 points, 9 rebounds, and a steal/block/assists on 9-16 shooting but missed all of his free throws. David West added in 11 points and 2 blocked shots while Franklin had 10 points but 6 turnovers...still raw as he shot 4-12 from the field. Channing Frye off the bench with 9 points on 3-4 shooting with 2 blocks and 2 assists. Jared Cunningham had 4 steals, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3 points but struggled from the field on 1-7 shooting.
They massively out-rebounded us like it was nothing...but the free throws are what told the story for this game. Now we play Philly and Brooklyn back to back...sucks that DeMar has 1 more day on his injury and we play two games the next sim. :/ I would love to be able to switch him in when I can, I just don't want to risk him getting further hurt if I play him against Philly.

Two more quality wins against two high quality teams. Beat Golden State 128-121 and Atlanta 124-100.
Man it's crazy to see how much this team has turned around this season. Once upon a time, we were 2-21. Now we're 24-36.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 58
Holy crap.
Lebron just poured a season-high 59 points (22-27 FG%, 1-1 3P%, 14-16 FT%) and 9 assists on Orlando in a 137-112 win. He also did it in just 35 minutes, a low number for him this season. Not much defense going on from either side, as we shot 61.4% to Orlando's 51.2%.
Jermaine O'Neal was the unexpected contributor with 14 points in 13 minutes, both highs in a Pacer uniform this season. Tony Parker had 10 points, 14 assists as well. For Orlando, Wiggins, Bayless, and Gibson each had 19. With starting wings Wiggins and Antetokounmpo committing 5 fouls each, and Jeff Green fouling out, it was obviously very difficult for Orlando to stop Lebron, and any effort was futile.

Another two wins at Toronto and vs Orlando. Amazing David Lee contribution from the bench (23 and 17 points last two games) once Thomas Robinson takes is place in starting lineup.

Win vs Utah – 114-127
Big strategic win vs division rival Utah. Lillard almost recovered now and pored 41 points in 36 mins. The big story for us is John Henson with 20 points, 12 boards and 9 big blocks. He filled in nicely for Aldridge who was in foul trouble but still scored 18 in 23 mins. Off the bench we got Tobias Harris with 15/9, Beasley with 12 and Bradley with 10.

Disappointing loss against the struggling suns on the road! Thought we are to put it together since we played really great the last 4 games.
But my rooks are too inconsistent and sullinger/Mcgary had one of those unstoppable games.
Good Game Timmey

I have to think Redick needs to go back into the lineup. We've just been losing badly since Scheyer got a starting lineup, only beating teams we match up well against or who had depth chart issues.

– 75
– 92
Chandler Parsons – 20 pts, 2 reb, 2 ast
Kevin Love – 19 pts, 15 reb
Marc Gasol – 13 pts, 9 reb, 2 stl, 3 blk
Marcus Smart – 36 pts, 4 reb, 5 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk
Carl Landry – 12 pts, 7 reb, 1 stl, 1 blk
Greivis Vasquez – 12 pts, 5 reb, 5 ast, 3 stl
Wow, was that an ugly game or what? The teams both shot under 38% from the floor and made just five of 26 threes combined. Luickily, Marcus Smart made a living at the free throw line, connecting on 18-20 of his attempts. He willed us to a win while the rest of our team struggled outside of Carl Landry and Greivis Vasquez.

Huge game against the Knicks on the road and we blow it by 10. Ricky and Knight had a pretty good showdown, but Ricky won in the end.
Rubio: 25 points, 19 assists, and 5 steals...crazy
Knight: 19 points, 13 assists, and 7 rebounds
Only up a half game on them now because of this game so we need to be on top of our game from here on out.

W: Detroit Pistons 106 @ 116 New York Knicks
Ricky Rubio: 25 points, 19 asists, 5 steals
Chase Budinger: 24 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists
JaVale McGee: 11 points, 9 rebounds, 4 blocks
We desperately needed to win this game to keep track of the Pistons, again ahead in the Eastern conference lead battle.
Bosh also knew how important the game was, so he forced back and played without being at 100% in order to try to help his team, struggling during his absence.
As emplep mentioned, it was a great PG battle between Knight and Rubio, and happily for us the PG from El Masnou was able to get the W for his team, as we move back to half a game behind the Pistons.
With Bosh and Budinger back healthy, it's time to try and get the #1 seed again!

Back at business with a nice win over LAC.
Deron with a great game, Howard and Nene were good too, George stuffing the stat sheet.
We're shooting 3s at a huge clip. Can't wait to see how well we can play once our best on-ball defender returns to action!
