Larry Brown HC of the Nets... until age 78

Brown resigned a three-year contract with the Nets yesterday and declared, as he usually does, that he expected it to be the last stop in a dizzying four-decade coaching odyssey.



Brown will be 75 in September, and his coaching successes have been overshadowed by a series of failures and contentious exits. He has held 14 coaching jobs since 1972, including nine stints with N.B.A. teams.

75 is pretty damn old, much less 78. But given this is a sim, Brown will be absolutely fine

Damn lol. I wouldn't be surprised to see him retire before the contract's up, if that can actually happen in the sim.

I have never seen a coach retire mid-contract but we may see that happen first hand with LB. Silas should retire after his release from the Peicans. Don't want him to give away our secrets...

Good old larry brown, it's time to take the retirement, he wants to enjoy his grandchildren and his family, the truth is that from utah we wish to share some of his wisdom.

Give Larry a break man, he deserves it!

Or at least he deserves to end his career coaching a playoff team..  

He'll retire eventually. Once we see our first wave of coaches retire, I think that's when we'll see the game-generated coaches become available.
