Ill have an article up on this tomorrow morning.
Basically, another blind pick, but we needed a wing, and I was somewhat impressed with Early's tourney performance, so we went with him.

Re: Round 2 - Pick 33 - Minnesota Timberwolves
With the 34th pick in the draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves once again went with a position of need. With no small forward behind Parsons, the Wolves front office had to pick one up in preparation for a run at the playoffs this year. In this case, Cleanthony Early was the best small forward available at this point in the draft.
Early led the underdog Wichita State team to the Final Four in the 2013 March Madness tournament, only to get beaten by the eventual champs, Louisville. Early is a tremendous athlete with a knack for scoring. With a 6'8" frame weighing 220 pounds, he's able to use his size advantage and athleticism over the smaller forwards that try to match up against him. He's a bit of a tweener and he can't shoot the three as much as you'd like from a small forward, but he fits the Josh Smith mold who has had plenty of success in the league.

Jake refused to comment on whether the Wolves would be signing any of their 2nd round picks with their lack of roster spots and plethora of cap room.
