We are thrilled to bring Stuckey back as our 3rd string PG - SG- SF and injury reserve for our 2nd string perimeter players. He didn't put up big numbers last year but at only 28 he has a lot left in the tank and can contribute when he is asked to. We were upfront with him, we have a lot of guys ahead on him in the depth chart but Stuckey is a versatile player that will find a way to make a difference.

I want to win, I'm sure I could have gotten more minutes elsewhere but I feel like the future is bright here in Atlanta and I want to be a part of it. I will be ready to play when called upon, and if not I will push our young guys in practice and support this team in anyway I can.

I like this move for the Hawks, Stuckey doesn't have the best BBIQ and that really hurts his ability to run the point but his ratings are very solid and if he's given the minutes he is a steal on this contract. Hopefully he's not stuck on the bench.

Not a bad contract for a guy who can spot start from time to time.

For the price and what you're asking him to do, you can't go wrong.

Not bad considering he gives you the option of moving a player like KCP in a package to upgrade in other areas if you wish.

Cheap deal. He's not very efficient but has solid ratings as a backup guard.
