They shouldn't be, not in my opinion...but maybe I'm just an idiot.
We've seen "press releases" from Ballers Inc. for guys like Kobe Bryant, Dirk, Avery Bradley, Danny Granger.....but then all of the sudden...randomly....out of nowhere.....Rush signs for the minimum. With no warning.
Just a heads up, I would have been willing to offer Rush a 3 or maybe 4 year MLE at $5 MIL a year if I had any sort of knowledge he was considering a minimum offer. That's just bogus. At 28 years old, shooting 45% from 3pt, I figured him to be considering way more than the minimum so I didn't bother inquiring about him.

That said, agencies should generally write a piece saying the players are looking for offers and whatnot like what was done with Dirk, Iggy, etc.
Specific details about offers shouldn't be disclosed no. I'm not sure how DDS3 works, but I know in DDS2 you can see what players are considering/demanding in free agency and a lot more.
I'm just a bit confused on how there were the press releases on those certain players then all of the sudden we see Rush go for the minimum. Isn't the goal of the agency to get the most money / best fit for their player..............?

Yeah wanted to offer the same. But was struggling if he's worth it.
Not sayin' you are an idiot, you are right, that he shouldnt have signed that offer. Especially because he's in his prime. Just said the same a few comments before.
Anyway every signing will be reviewed by Myles and Dylan. I believe the Rush signing could be the first that wont be approved.
On top there could have been media. No matter how "unimportant" the player is. Every player should receive the same attention by the PA. Even a guy like Rush. Look at SCDP, they are posting Morrow is nearly signing a deal, so everybody is able/got the time to throw in an offer.

Same with Hustle Inc. with Varejao, they're handling the agency like they're supposed to. It's a shame that signings can happen with no warning like this situation.

I'm with you Higrade. For me there's really deifficult to sign any of the guys I want while the champs signs whatever he wants at that stupid price...
Player with no man offers want to wait till the end of FA while others seem to have 0 price

Agreed here, somewhat too early for a min deal for Rush... on the other hand, how long do you expect him to wait for all those MLE deals from you hesitant GMs?

Re: Brandon Rush signs with Miami
Again, I have no idea why the complaints are coming in.
Every team/ GM complaining has stated they didn't even send the guy an offer, complaining for a press conference... it's Brandon Rush, he's a good player not a Kobe Bryant or Dirk etc so I don't see a need per se for a pres release.
They don't do that irl, just for the big names honestly and again, if the player was so integral to your roster an official offer of even a vet min - MLE - thru whatever teams/ GM's felt he was worth.
Can't knock the agency for accepting a deal for a guy who hadn't received perhaps but one single offer for all of 5-6 days maybe?
And yeah he is rather young to maybe take the min and the Agency may have wanted to wait and promote their guy for maybe an "overpay" nce the other guys start getting snatched away in FA but I don't think it's as ridiculous as some think.
With that said if I were an agent I woulda had my client wait it out. though.

If you want someone, you make them an offer. You don't sit around then when they sign flip on the agency for your player signing with someone else. We are taking and handling offers from 10-20 teams for over 10 players. We can't and won't make everyone happy, but if you don't offer for someone it's your fault. Don't go blaming the agents.

Wasnt blaming you guys, you are doing a great job, no doubt. Just curious to see a pretty good 3pt shooter sign a min deal at his prime.

Re: Brandon Rush signs with Miami
I'm not complaining about him signing too early, or for low money. I couldn't even offer him more than a minimum, because I'm not wasting my MLE on a SG While I have 3 SGs on my team and need lots of help at other positions.
But I'm not waiting to see how the market goes any then make my offers. Instead I've reações some Agents with minimum deals or MLE for those who I think are worth it. Some agencys even replied me telling the player has only my offer but will wait to see if they can get more. Others aren't even replying, maybe they think I'm lowballing and are not respecting my offers (and I think that's totally wrong as in most cases I don't have anything to offer besides a minimum and I'm limiting my MLE offers to 1 per agency. Also I'm not reaching 28yo guys who didn't make lots of money trought their carrers and enjoyed Nice ruins last season and could natch a long, nice contract)
So my question is, why Rush signed that early for the minimum and the players who I offered the minimum ir even MLE and had only my offers didn't?
Anyway I don't like to complain, it does not affect my roster and I'm still following my Free Agency plan previously set.
That's just an interesting question given that I'm making the same offers OP does, even more as he doesn't have MLE, and I'm also an interesting destination as a title contender, like the Heat. Also I'm also offering guys more minutes than "10 minutes backing up Durant".
Don't get me wrong OP, Nice deal for you, congrats.

Re: Brandon Rush signs with Miami
We offered Rush a minimum deal on day one, but he said he'd like to hold out for a better deal.
So I guess not a single person offered him during that span.
If you want someone, you can't just wait around and hope no one offers for him. You gotta be more proactive in dealing with the PA system.

Still..pretty strange to me no "press release" was made for him but yet every other player can get one...a little peculiar if you ask me.

Re: Brandon Rush signs with Miami
totally agree with Higrade and Querejeta as possible so that a guy comes out of the minimum, when ratings and percentages may be in a middle if others are, already paid for them.
it can not be that much required by some and by others as little also would have given the MLE.
my question is clear here once remaining good players that will not be fair to be signed by the minimum when the season starts.
I know it's a law of supply and demand, but I have launched deals and tell me to wait, that is not only mine and take me to a good one for a good price?
