Good move IMO. LeBron is a franchise transcender and with the right team around him he is nearly impossible to beat. You literally just need shooters and defenders now.

Yeah definitely man. It's just my pov/opinion.

Well, you got the best player in the deal (by a pretty wide margin) but your team is pretty barren now. You have LeBron and a bunch of role players. I'm not sure having LeBron carry your team on your back is gonna help you beat the Heat anymore than having a well rounded team.

Still, they have their MLE, Would Amare be willing to sign for that?

I think this was a huge miscalculation for Indy, one is if they trade him at the deadline they won't be able to get the same value they paid for him, and two (if they keep him) in FA 2015 it shouldn't be about who wants to come to Indy to play with LeBron, it'll be about can they keep him to then secure players to want to come play with LeBron so they'll have to convince guys to sign first then wait to see if he returns which is a tough chance but a chance no less.

I like it for Indy. When you have the opportunity to get Lebron, you do it. No question.

Lebron is the best player in the deal, but George and Hibbert are guys you can build your team around and Millsap is no slouch either.

I like George and he has so much potential left on him.
Also, the fact that he's a RFA next summer helps a lot. You are never going to get another player like Bron when trading him, because he's unique, there's no such player like him.
But I can easily build around George, and Hibbert and Millsap with Paul is a great return for someone I can lose at FA, even if it's LeBron. At least I can extend George because I'm matching any offers and offering he a max deal when it's time. He certainly deserves it. In two / three years, when George reaches his full potential, I think this trade pays off. My future look way brighter and more secure now.

Paul George and John Wall contracts weren't correct in game so you may wanna check the thread on it and get an accurate update as their contracts will be corrected next offseason so you basically got an extra yr of "cheap" labor in PG.

Indy still can nab some good MLE talent and have shot at coming outta the East.

I'm not sure how I feel about the deal for either team...I think I might like it slightly more for the Thunder as they get a TON of depth to further complete their team. Indy though...I'm honestly not sure. If they can get a shooter or two and some defenders...LeBron might be able to carry them into the Post Season...we'll see though.
