We discussed the banner as admins before the season, and had agreed to update the banner once a year after the Finals so as to add the new champions on to it, as well as put some new players up there.

The point of the banner was to showcase the final 4 of last years semifinals, not necessarily the best players in the league. I don't think it should be updated until we see the 4 new teams in this year's finals.

Agreed. Plus two players from the same team wouldn't be as good to see as the four team display now.

I agree - this is a nod to the four best teams from last season and is a nice goal to have. Besides, it's not like I'm asking to put MKG up there in place of Kobe, which would make more sense than having two Pacers up there when I knocked you out of the payoffs last year....
