Rubio On The Move?
Breaking News: MINNEAPOLIS, MIN - Chad Ford of ESPN is now reporting that the Minnesota front office, does, in fact, have a trade in place that will be sending the 23 year old floor general Ricky Rubio to an unnamed team. The trade has not officially been announced due to the trade moratorium, but rumor has it a package including Ricky Rubio will be the first trade of the offseason.
The trade partner remains the only question at this point. The Minnesota front office have kept their phones busy this offseason, talking to numerous teams including the Detroit Pistons, the Milwaukee Bucks, the Knicks, and they've even taken a stab at luring a top 2 pick from either Boston or Orlando to land either Andrew Wiggins or Alex Len, among other teams.
We'll keep you updated with any new info, but it appears we might have to wait to see where Ricky Rubio will be playing in 2014.

Well, we all know that GM Cyrisnyte was a HUGE fan of Rubio from his days in Minnesota...

Re: Rubio On The Move?
My sources say a huge haul is coming in return, haha.
Rubio's definitely an interesting guy who has statistically (IMO) underachieved. It'll be interesting to see how he does in a brand new environment.

Re: Rubio On The Move?
I've always personally been a fan of Rubio... Interesting to see him go. Curious to see what the return package is. For some reason, I'm anticipating it being huge.
Re: Rubio On The Move?
I'm interested to see where Rubio ends up, very interesting.
Also, just a suggestion, but maybe have the breaking news all caps and in red like they do on ESPN's website? And then maybe the Minneapolis part regular, and then just MN. Just a simple suggestion, lol. :p
But I'm excited to see all the deals go down.

I think Orlando. Even though Rubio has been...developing slowly.

Re: Rubio On The Move?
My guess is Milwaukee for #4 + not sure, only because the Bucks missed out on Teague.
If not it's definitely a team who'll have a PG coming Minny's way. Just hope it's worth it for Minny breaking up McLemore Love Rubio already.
Actually now my guess is Orlando for Noel + a pick.

Well, it was fun to see your guys' guesses, and Willy was spot on with his 2nd statement. Little anticlimactic with the moratorium being lifted, but oh well.

If Parsons isn't re-signed in Minnesota, this could be a tough trade for the Timberwolves.
