Utah Jazz Season Preview 2014/15
Utah dapralbe Jazz
When I arrived to Utah I found a strong roster, as I have done in offseason, sign a specialist players for my system.
I would like to emphasise that hard work will be required over the coming weeks. The training camp is very important for us, we need to set the right course.
Now, I open my mind and I will write my "feelings" and my dudes.
Good vibrations
I have the best frontcourt in PA/SF of the competition IMO. Ibaka and Favors should be careful with fouls, but they will average 0.7 in this stat. Furthermore, the duo are great "blokers". In backcourt Batum and Conley should maintain 0.8 PA/SF. In order to be effective, however, we need so much more than a great PA/SF, In stealing balls and forcing TOs, Conley , Fernandez and Batum will have to be made a considerably stops % because we will defend full court defense on many occasions.
The bench. Devin Harris, Landry Fields, Dorrell Wright, Tyrus Thomas and DeJuan Blair with Delonte West and Ronny Turiaf. I think these 7 players have capacity to win some teams of CSL, each players are complementaries with the starting lineup players.
Dudes
I don't know if the coach is important or no. Mike Brown don't inspires confidence in me. I always have good coaches : Popovich, Brown and Saunders in recent times and they have the level of strategy very high.
The capacity of Batum in scoring when Utah are colapsed. Will he be able to take a scoring role when Favors score 15 points or less and Ibaka 10 or less ? I don't look. In this games, the steals and easy points will be crucial for win these matches.

Yeah this was the best defensive team last season (second half) so will bring a lot of the same this year. I thought they struggled to score vs other good defensive teams though. Favors is a monster though and Utah is a playoff lock imo

Gonna have to see if Fernandez fits better than Hayward but this Jazz team has a spectacular frontcourt defensively and both Ibaka and Favors have gotten better offensively as well so I'm sure you'll do a great job dapralbe.
Very dangerous team that had our number last season.

You will struggle to score against teams that can limit Favors, since he's your only real strong scorer. Conley and Batum can get the job done but they are not go-to guys by any means.
