Los Angeles (L) - Sacramento
Lakers send:
SG Jason Richardson - $6,601,125
C Nick Collison - $2,585,668
PG Tony Wroten - $1,160,040
2014 LAL 1st
2014 CHA 1st
Total - $10,346,833 (works under either 125%/150% rule)
Kings send:
C Al Horford - $12,000,000
Total - $12,000,000
Lakers accept. Horford is the piece our team is really missing. He brings the defensive presence to our front court that we desperately need and he fits well into our lineup. We needed a lower usage big who could rebound and defend at an elite level - there aren't many better than Horford in those categories. He's also a better player then we would get at 7 for the direction of the Lakers.

Re: Los Angeles (L) - Sacramento
Kings accept.
We weren't exactly set on building around Horford, and with our complete mess of a roster, rebuilding was the smartest path to take. Getting picks 7 and 17, as well as number of expiring contracts, will help the rebuilding efforts in a big way.
