With the 7th overall the Sacramento Kings select Shabazz Muhammad and send the rights to the Boston Celtics..

Round 1 - Pick 7 - Sacramento Kings Shabazz_portada

After some sources already were suprised by Bostons pick up at #6 the mystery is now unraveled.
The Celtics traded down to pick up Shabazz Muhammad.
Drafting Jahii Carson at #6 only a few moments ago, he's already shipped out and will be headed to Sacramento.
In return Boston will receive the rights to pick 7 and 18.

We know Shabazz is a big gamble. He has the red flag, his DI seems to be pretty low and he wont be much more than a superior Scorer. But we believe thats what our team needs. A guy able to score and it seems he's able to score from nearly everywhere on the court. His handling should be okay for a small forward although his passing will be a big concern. With having a pass first point guard in Schröder we hope it wouldnt be such a big problem.

During the pre draft tournament Bazz averaged 13 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 0.25 turnover on 46% shooting. Nevertheless his foultrouble will be hard to handle.

Solid pickup. Should be a good player to build around for your young team.

No idea on him. Don't like the dude IRL so didn't even scout him.

And I thought I was the only one to allow my real life bias to get in the way of my sim leagues lol.

Scorers mentality. Guy can flat out fill up the bucket. Just curious to see if he is a one hit wonder though. I'm sure with the D already in place, he will be just fine.
