CSL Tonite! Preview Show #1

Hi! I'm Mindy Mindy and welcome to CSL Tonite! Today we have Steve Smith, Dennis Scott, and Greg Anthony in studio and they're gonna discuss some of the matchups we have going on tonite!

Gentlemen...


Alright Mindy first off we have the undefeated Brooklyn Nets at 3-0 going to Charlotte to take on the Hornets who have been struggling to start the season. The Hornets have been led by Ramon Sessions who's played amazingly well at 18pts a game but they'll need Amar'e Stoudemire to step up and regain his old form in order to beat Brooklyn who's been led by Rudy Gay who can get buckets, 24pts a game along with the big fella Brook Lopez who's putting up 25pts a game and both guys are gettin' it done on both ends of the floor. I look for the Nets to go in and handle business.

Next up is the Indiana Pacers and my man Kobe Bean Bryant aka Vino getting things done in Indy, he and LeBron James'll be headin' to Atlanta, ATL to take on DeMarcus Cousins and the Hawks...how about the bug guy Big Cuz puttin in WORK with 30pts a game to go along with 11.5rebs and 2blks, he's gettin' it done from the outside and get this, he's averaging 13.5 FT's a game! I think the Hawks come away with the win.

Last we have a divisional battle of 2 undefeated teams, the 3-0 Utah Jazz headin' to Denver to take on the 2-0 Nuggets and this game is gonna be a battle of bigs as Derrick Favors and Serge Ibaka look to dominate the game but the Nuggets have 2 outstanding bigs themselves in Greg Monroe and Nikola Pekovic who combine for 35pts and 20rebs so you're talking about some big guys I mean look at how much space Pekovic takes up on the screen allowing Jrue to hit the shot, he screens not one but two guys Mindy! I expect a tough matchup between not only them but Mike Conley and Jrue Holiday as well with the Jazz getting the win and there you have it, a great slate on games on deck for tonite and I can't wait!


Well I'm going with the Bobcats/ Hornets over Brooklyn, I think the homecourt will play a factor in this game even though Brooklyn is coming off a huge win in Miami. I think the Pacers with LeBron and Kobe and Dirk go into Atlanta and get a big win to set the tone early in the season between 2 teams who are expected to go deep into the Playoffs. And finally I got the Nuggets holdin' it down on their homecourt against the Jazz but it's gonna be a close game.


It's good to see Dennis is buying in to the Nuggets who are a solid solid team and I expect them to get the win as well.
I'm also going with Brooklyn on the road in Charlotte who still have to work out the "AK Effect" After Kobe as they figure out exactly whose team it is and finally I'm goin' Atlanta in an upset, they'll be hyped and energetic and eager to show the Pacers they're for real...

Also I wanna give a quick nod to the Milwaukee Bucks, I mean here's a young team comprised of mostly rookies sitting at 3-1 and are doing a tremendous job to start the season so Kudos to them.

Rubio heads back to Minny for the first time against Lin, battle of the undefeateds in the Northwest, Charlotte's still trying to find a way to slow down opponents (120+ given up last 2 games), and ATL-IND is a pretty huge matchup too.
