Chandler Coming Back Strong, Signs Extension in Oakland



Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce is thrilled to announce that one of the premier unrestricted free agents is now officially off the market.  Tyson, who suffered a season ending injury after only a handful of games with the Warriors, is on course to return strong next season and to add to Golden State's stout defensive scheme.

"It sucks, obviously, to be sitting on the side lines in a suit and tie when I want to be on the court, helping my teammates.  But I had a chance to sit down with Highgrade and discuss our team goals going forward and he informed me that I was a big part of those plans.  My boys over at SCDP wasted no time securing my future in the East Bay and I'm thrilled."

Tyson's contract extension totals $48,950,000 over four years, beginning next season.  The contract contains the maximum raises allowed for a bird free agent.
