CSL Tonite! - Day90/Trade Deadline Rumours Part 1, The East.
*Sorry guys, again not an article about my Team.. But there is just nothing to write about my team, haha. Also, you dont have to comment as I didnt read most of your artices lately, but I need three more points for the next scouting period.
While reading some great music I love to make the article more interesting..
*Gordon Hayward played zero minutes the last few games.

The Atlantic Division
Actually by far the worst Division, but watch out. While Toronto and Boston are young and talented New York and Brooklyn are managed by two of the best GMs the CSL has ever seen.
New York Knicks
Trade Chance: 10%
Well, why changing a team that works together fine. I assume Jamal isnt even talking possible trades with anybody out there. His team is one of the best structured rosters in the league and the chemistry they have is unique. Rubio and Bosh are their stars and the guys playing around those two are just perfect fits. So why changing anything?
Brooklyn Nets
Trade Chance: 60%
At first goikiri made some moves to clear capspace for next offseason. But while trading for Okafor, Lee, Curry, Robinson and Stuckey he gave it up again. Maybe a wise decision? With all those free agents signing extensions already during the season you could say: yes. Why saving money if you cant spend it later? Looking at their starting five its a pretty decent team with only one hole. They are missing a SF. Actually Robinson is starting at the three but a guy without any range cant be the solution. So expect them to make a move to fill that hole.
Philadelphia 76ers
Trade Chance: 100%
This team is a mess. They arent bad, they got talent, or let us say they got Bynum, Wade and Ilyasova. But thats it. The new GM has a really difficult problem to solve. Next to his three core startes he only has his pick as a moveable asset. So what next? Move Wade? Possible and maybe a great idea. But who would be willing to pay accordingly? Dwyane is aready 32 and his star is slowly on his way down. I could only see Indiana trade for him as they are in a "do or die" mood, but they are locked at SG. Another possibility, move Bynum for a package of future stars. Maybe its the best time to get as much as possible for him as his value is at an all-time high. If the new GM wants to keep both he still could trade his pick for instant help.
Toronto Raptors
Trade Chance: 100%
Gosh! In Blackice's (tradegod) name! This franchise has so many moveable assets.. Their starting five looks legit even though Im no Jennings fan and will possibly never be. Actually bt named him his Franchiseplayer but I cant see him beeing one. They are locked at shooting guard with Victor Oladipo who is a really great wing defender and reminds me of Tony Allen/Wes Mathews. And they are locked at power forward with Kevin Seraphin who is one of the best defensive minded fours in the league. But they are missing a small forward and maybe a Center. At least Mason Plumlee will be back soon.
They got a bunch of shooting guards they could use to add a three or a defensive minded five while solving the logjam problem at the two. On top they got a lot first round picks. But shoud bt keep them or try to trade them for the best he could get? In my opinion I can see why Tim traded his first. From what Ive seen so far I would assume a guy like Kendall Marshall would be a top three pick this year, but maybe its only me who has the opinion.
The Central Division
Looking at possible trades maybe the most boring Division?
Detroit Pistons
Trade Chance: 50%
Its neary the same like for New York. This roster is just great. But Jon detected one liability: Jameer Nelson.
The League knows he is looking to trade for a better point guard and would package Jameer together with last years 11. pick Perry Ellis. So the only question is: will he find the right trade partner before the deadline is passed?
Chicago Bulls
Trade Chance: 10%
Ben just had to give up several players to get below the hardcap. He has just no room to make a lot moves. If he makes a move at all it will only be a minor one. Really nothing special here.
Indiana Pacers
Trade Chance: 10%
Another team I dont expect to make a lot noise the next weeks. Indiana has just no tradeable assets. They are committed to their Parker, Bryant, James, Nowitzki core. I just cant see anybody willing to take on Dirks or Kobes contracts. Maybe they will move Stephenson for an upgrade at Center? Difficult to say which Center they could nab with a guy like Lance who isnt shooting well nor plays great defense.
Cleveland Cavaliers
Trade Chance: 100%
From Hero to Zero. Tkap came, detroyed the team and left. Good job. Jamal already predicted that will happen weeks ago and he was right. The team was the second best in the east last year, but the trades tkap made were just bad (Like already analysed here). Actually they are paying with three guys in the backcourt that are unable to shoot or at least arent prefering to shoot (Kyrie). I already see Zones incoming. On top they are missing a real Center. They got Zeller, but he just doesnt look starting five worthy. Actually it seems Rob is trying to find a suitor for Paul Millsap. But who is willing to take on a guy who was an allstar just because he was Bostons first, second and third option last year? On top he is overpaid and out for another 34 days. Rob has to change something and Im sure a power forward and maybe Eric Gordon are leaving Cleveland, but I dont believe the power forward will be Paul Millsap.
Milwaukee Bucks
Trade Chance: 10%
I cant see them make any moves. Maybe a pretty litte one. But they just traded away all the assets they wanted to trade and created a decent "starting four". Their frontcourt is maybe the best rebounding frontcourt you will ever see and their young guys arent looking bad either. Milwaukee has a great future if they find a point guard able to run the show for them. BTW it was a brilliant move to trade away an overrated point guard like Jeff Teague for one of the better young Center Nikola Vucevic.
Southeast Division
Atlanta Hawks
Trade Chance: blackice%
Its blackice. He will never be quiet. But I believe Cousins, Barnes, Lawson, Sefolosha wont be moved. Blackice know what a great team he just created and his core is one of the best you will ever see. Sefolosha feat Lawson in the backcourt? What a nightmare for driving guards. And if they are able to get past them there are still Cousins and Hibbert waiting for them. BI will make changes, like he always does, but he will keep his core together. At least for this season.
Miami Heat
No GM.
Washington Wizards
Trade Chance: 0%
I believe actually its pretty impossible to get something done with him. At least unless you are one of the spaniards. I believe even Jordan Crawford is superman in his eyes.
Charotte Hornets
Trade Chance: 100%
SS isnt and cant be satisfied with his teams performance, so trades are pretty obvious. Most of his team is trade restricted until day 90. So expect a lot moves will be made by the Hornets in a few SIMS. I believe everybody except MKG is on the block. While Anderson Varejao, Amare Stoudemire and Goran Dragic should find a new home easily it will be harder to find a team willing to take on Afflalos or Sessions contract. Anyway, changes are needed and they will be made.
Orlando Magic
Trade Chance: 100%
We all know Jeff tends to hold on on the players he has, but that isnt something bad in his situation. He got the second best young core next to New Orleans and will be back in the playoffs sooner than later. Noel, Wiggins and Greek Freak are a core you just need to keep until they are developed. Though Jeff announced already days ago Ricky Ledo and Shane Larkin are on the move. Obviously he is missing a pass first point badly and a younger power forward could be a great addition too.
While reading some great music I love to make the article more interesting..

Really cool article actually, I like the rumor articles.
Yeah, Varejao is going to Sac-Town, no doubt about it. And Orlando getting Jameer makes a lot of sense, they've been wanting a better PG for awhile now, just not sure why Detroit would ever trade him for the Ledo + Harrington package mentioned above.

Made a mistake. Wanted to write Shane Larkin + Al Harrington..
My fault, lol

Yeah, West will follow tomorrow. Already 1:30 AM in GER.
Some extracts:
Shane Larking on the move to Los Angeles to step in for Russel Everythingbrooken?
Pekovic, KCP are sitting already ~20 games, are they on the move?
Carson on the move, were will he be headed? Is he joining Wiggins in Orlando?
Ledo, Varejao headed to Sacramento?
But more tomorrow!

Good read man. Def will be interesting to see how this deadline pans out. It has been no secret that we have been looking to move Ellis for a PG that can grow with this team, but every trade has fallen through, maybe for the better.

Re: CSL Tonite! - Day90/Trade Deadline Rumours Part 1, The East.
Great, great article. Always good reading these.
We would like to make a move but we're not going to mortgage the rebuild to do so. I don't really care how much we lose. This is a wasted season that will just put pieces in place for the future and give players instructions to improve their game for when it matters.
I don't recall saying Jennings was a franchise guy. Well if I did, that's definitely incorrect. I think he has a ton of talent and can be a top player in this league but I'd like to play him off the ball. We have no capable point to do that though so he has to play on the ball. With instructions, there have been stretches of 6-7 games where he's shot over 50% combined so I really think we can turn him into a deadly player but it is going to take time.
We continue with our eye on the future. Veterans like Gortat are definitely handy to have around for the next 2-3 seasons when we bring help in and our younger kids develop but it's definitely not about this season. We've had plenty of the same teams in other sim leagues over the years and are happy to flip the switch here and try something completely different with this team.

You have Washington Wizards GM down pat! His negotiations are always good for a laugh.
Very nice read, rumor-wise I'm not buying Varejao to the Kings for some reason but I could be wrong.

Actually in a hurry, so there is just no time to answer all of your Responses (thanks for that, because due to my activity lately I didnt deserve it).
But yeah, some rumors are true, some are just something I believe could happen and some are just invented to get everybody thinking about it. I somehow like it.
@bt, thanks for that detailed answer. I know you didnt say brandon is your Franchise man, you said he is your Leader if I remember right.
Just wanted to be a bit provocative here and there.

Varejao on the move. DJ is spot on with the take on the Hornets. I need to regear this roster - but I'm not blowing it up. We'll see if I can't sneak into the playoffs again.
