Time to say goodbye..
Boston traded fan favorite Nikola Vucevic together with DeMar DeRozan and George Hill. Their new home will be Dallas.
Especially the departure of Vucevic is going to hurt.
Last season Vucevic averaged 16 Points; 11,2 Rebounds; 1 BLK; 1 STL while shooting 50% from the field after being traded to Boston.
George Hill and DeMar DeRozan are going to join Vucevic on his trip to Dallas.
Hill averaged 13 Points, 3.6 Assits, 3.2 Rebounds in 29 minutes.
DeRozan averaged 7.7 Points, 1.8 rebounds on 41% shooting.
On the other side Patric Young and Dallas this years first round pick are going to join the Boston Celtics. For now it isnt clear who will be Bostons target at pick 6. Having Schröder on board it seems it would make no sense to draft Jahii Carson who should be the best player available at that stage of the draft. Carson with his 5-11 is just way to small to play Shooting Guard next to Schröder. So is a trade down a possible result?
Also wearing green the next season Patric Young. Sources are saying he is exactly the type of player Boston wanted at power forward. Young is 6-9 and was part of the ALL-CSL-Rookie first team last season. On top he was a rookie game starter and played a promising first season.
Last season Young averaged 9.6 Points, 9.0 Rebounds, 1.8 Blocks on 54% shooting allowing only 0.8 points per shot faced.
(Now owning 8 picks in the upcoming draft we are going to cut some players like Davis and Jamison. There is just no space for them. Neal could be had for free, so if somebody is interested just shoot a message, he's on the move. Also Oden could be moved for a future second and a roster spot.)

We believe Len will be our future star and keeping Vucevic next to Len would have made just no sense.

A trade down is possible, there are a few guys we love, that should be available at pick 9 to 15.. If there isnt a satisfying offer it could happen we end up selecting the best player available.. and that seems to be Jahii..

We know he wont hit as much jumpers as his role model Serge does, but he will be a beast in the paint.. we are looking to add some shooters, his job will be to clean up the misses. Expect to see some great putbacks and dunks by him in upcoming CSL-tonite shows..
Also expect us to be a major player next offseason. We got only guys on rookie contracts left and Gerald Wallace after this season. Lets see if we are able to move Gerald to have even more capspace

Man, like I said, this trade really made sense for both teams. Way to add a great complementary player to Alex Len so they can both grow together. Good luck with the draft pick and good luck next season.

Andrew Wiggins is going to look sweet in Celtic green!
But seriously, I like the move you made and you are gaining assets while rebuilding at the same time.

Hehe, yeah we already discussed nearly everything in the trade chatter, but needed to write my required trade article:D.
Stop kidding me Rizzo! I asked Jeff ten times if he is 100% sure to take Wiggins but if you keep doing that I believe I will have nightmares tonight

I want Wiggins on the Celtics IRL, but I think Orlando will be taking him in the CSL.

Not a bad trade. Vuc might be better than the guy at number 6, but I haven't doen much scouting. Young is a solid player to have though and think he will be a good player down. Good trade all around.

Considering BOS had all that cap for next season I thought it was a good move.
