Time to take care of business in The Windy City
The Bulls are excited to kick off the new season. We will be seeing alot of pick and rolls with Rose and our big men this year as expected. We are very happy to have on board our new players and cant wait to see what they can do together.
Jerry Sloan wrote:“Hey, get your ice picks out. Get all your stuff solved. Go out in the parking lot. Do whatever you have to do, to get all the nonsense taken care of, so we can play basketball. Let's get back to the business of basketball."
The Starters
Joakim Noah
Noah is a defensive minded team first player with a high basketball IQ. Great rebounder and defender. Solid offensively never one to force anything. Joakim is a coaches dream in the locker room as well with his toughness and leadership.
Tiago Splitter
Splitter much like Noah is a tall mobile big man with great basketball IQ. Splitter is good in all the areas you would expect a big man to be in, but is an exceptional ball handler and passer in the half court. Tiago was a very steady player of the bench last season in Miami. We are excited to see what he can do in our starting lineup
Joe Johnson
Joe will be the teams number 2 option on offense. A great ball handler and passer at his position. Great defensive traits and IQ. One of the best 3 point gunners in the league. We look forward to seeing what JJ can do in our system.
Tony Allen
3 and D at its finest. Pretty much sums up Tony Allen. He will draw opposing teams best offensive player on defense. Allen is an absolute pest in the passing lanes and always makes his rotation. Can be counted on for a decent amount of offense given enough touches.
Derrick Rose
The heart and soul of the Chicago Bulls, Rose will be the focal point of coach Sloans offense once again this season. Derrick is the teams MVP offensively and has great defense to boot. Derrick will be able to create for teammates as well as himself. Full court is where he thrives but can work a half court set if needed.
The Bench
Taj Gibson
Taj is more of an old school big man. An absolute bruiser, Gibson will make good use of his 6 fouls and that is exactly what coach Jerry Sloan is looking for in his first big off the bench.
Michael Beasley
Beasley is a talented offensive player who can be effective playing the 3 or the 4. I bit of a head scratcher, Beasley seems to be one of those players who has potential to be more productive than he has thus far in the CSL. Not sure where he fits better on defense as a tweener who has no natural position on D. Sloan might be just what the doctor ordered.
Tim Hardaway JR
The son of a former NBA allstar, Tim has all of the traits associated with players around the game since birth. High basketball IQ, Solid defense and ball handling. Tim can take over a game in a hurry on offense but needs to work on shot selection.
Nate Robinson
The big free agent signing in Chicago this offseason. Nate will provide a spark off the bench when Rose sits down. Robinson will man the backup PG while Christon hopefully develops to take his place
The Prospects
Lucas Noguiera, Alec Brown and Semaj Christon will all spit time between the D-League and our CSl rotation this year.

Really like the Bulls this year. Rose is a super PG and Noah is a rare talent. The bench is great. Should be a playoff lock in the East

Rose is playing some stellar ball right now, definitely on pace as an early MVP candidate.
Nice review man.

If Rose continues to ball out like he has started the season the Bulls could be a dark horse to win the East.

For now it really seems Rose is on a Mission.. really depends on what he's able to do this year.
Splitter btw didnt develope, seems he's stuck at where he's right now

I said you that BRO-CHI trade was beneficial to both. I think the bench is your problem (I don't like Nate, nothing, nothing - I'm Nate hater). Don't worry, the Nets have worst

Great team you have built here. Splitter/Johnson/Allen are the exact players you need complementing Rose and Noah.
