Re: Regular Season - Sim 6
2-0 SIm.
First we go into Philly and beat them by 1 which is a big win. They tried to zone us heavily and Jameer made them pay for that by draining some big threes.
Then we take Brooklyn on at home and let Melo and Knight handle them to bring our record up to 6-2 for the season.
Still waiting for the Bulls to come back down to Earth but its not happening so we're gonna have to get used to seeing them perform this well.

He's not, actually. Nowitzki is the one not getting touches. I believe Lebron's only had one sub-30 point game so far. His touches are just fine.DennisJ (BOS) wrote:BizGilwalker (IND) wrote:61/19 actuallyHigrade (GSW) wrote:Stat of the Sim -

61 points, 9 rebounds
Are you freakin KIDDING me ??
Easy to explain..
Dont know his exact numbers by Heart.. But its dwade and him + a little ilyasova in philly.. I Predict Andrews usage% is above 40% and his touches are at a PG Level around 60-70. will take a look later.
Thats why Miami and Houston are designed the same. Those teams are looking to get the Ball into their Stars hands.
A reason why Minnesota or Oklahoma wont work IMO. Loves, PGs usage are too low because of too many guys demanding the ball.
Same for Indy, wouldnt have added Nowitzki, its just stealing away usage and touches from Lebron.

Marcus Smart – 32 pts, 7 ast, 2 stl, 1 blk
Anthony Davis – 27 pts, 13 reb, 2 stl, 2 blk
Eric Gordon – 16 pts, 3 reb
Ryan Anderson – 12 pts, 11 reb
Greivis Vasquez – 12 pts, 6 ast
Al-Farouq Aminu – 7 pts, 7 reb, 3 ast, 2 stl, 2 blk
Rolled to an easy home win over the Raptors. Smart and Davis really exerted themselves on Toronto and connected on 25 of their 41 combined shots. Ever since my new strategies have been put into place, these two have been just killing it. Seems like the Smart at point guard experiment is a huge success, too! Dude is averaging 6.7 assists while only turning it over 1.3 times, good for a 5.15 a/to ratio! Loving life in ‘Nawlins right about now!

Anthony Davis – 28 pts, 17 reb, 4 blk
Marcus Smart – 27 pts, 4 ast
Eric Gordon – 24 pts, 3 reb
Ryan Anderson – 15 pts (3-3 3PT)
Jason Smith – 12 pts
Greivis Vasquez 10 pts, 7 ast
Sorry, did Kenneth Faried want to play this game? The big man saw 12 minutes of action before picking up five fouls thanks to Anthony Davis going to work. It wasn’t even worth bringing him back in since this game got out of hand fast. Andrew Harrison, Kyle Anderson and Faried combined to shoot 3-22 from the field. Some good young talent in Milwaukee but they weren’t ready for the Pelicans!

yeah just checked myself, curious!
Still, if he wouldnt be there I believe Lebron would have a higher usage.

Do the Heat actually have a GM? Either way Monta Ellis is playing well for them but logging a lot of minutes.

I didn't even realize that Bynum went off for 61 points and 19 rebounds. What's the CSL scoring record?

Re: Regular Season - Sim 6
Damn, Bynum is unreal for us right now. Sucks we lost to the Pistons at home, and by 1 point, but overall a pretty good sim for us with a win vs Miami. I still can't get over how good of a player Bynum is, I'm just going to have to hope that starts to equate to more wins.

That's when I realized I needed to trade him, LOL. He got shipped out to Houston soon after that
It still remains the best scoring effort @CSL. Bynum just tied Durant for the 2nd (against Brooklyn). And LeBron holds the 3rd with 59 against the Hawks.

"Thats what I wanted to see", leader and captain Gordon Hayward screamed entering the locker room!
After a devastating start into the season Bostons GM decided to switch tactics. Number 7 pick Shabazz got the start instead of Dennis Schröder, who has to rest because of a strained abdominal. Everybody played well this game, even Len, who limited Lopez to 2/5 shooting despite not putting up a stellar statline like everybody else.
Hayward is still struggling to find his shot due to double and triple teams, but he handles the ball already better and has become a great slasher. We knew with some preference works he will be just fine. Actually he's shooting above 60% inside. As soon as he stops to try 3pointers he will be damn fine.
Thats our this years gift for New York, dont expect us to win against Brooklyn again! Really everybody stepped up! Look at Micic, he played on the same level like Rondo and he just got his first start at PG. Looking at his potentials you have to be scared how good he could be in the future. Schröder has to fight to get his starting gig back as soon as he returned from injury!
Same for Shabazz.. some said he will struggle on D or with foultrouble and turnovers. So far he allows 0.7 P/SF and committs 1 turnover, 1 pf.
KeyPlayers
Gordon "Captain" Hayward 33 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block, 1 turnover
=> and Hayward even played the Point for 11 minutes against Rondo! Amazing that he turned it over only 1 time. He really improved this training camp!
Vasilije "The Kidd" Micic 10 points, 13 assists, 4 rebounds
Patric "mini Ibaka" Young 10 points, 17 rebounds, 2 blocks
Bazz "the unpredictable" Muhammad 21 points, 5 rebounds, 8/13 with 5/6 from downtown! (man this guy is great from outside!)
Congrats Dennis, very good win. I changed two men to position for try to win in Detroit. Finally, I lost in Detroit and in Boston. I hope with Delfino I will improve three points attemps.

Only win-less team. Struggling to find the right mix and single post doesn't seem to have helped much.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 6
L: Miami Heat 126 @ 121 New York Knicks
Ricky Rubio: 27 points, 12 asists, 6 rebounds, 3 steals
JaVale McGee: 32 points, 6 rebounds, 1 block
Close game against the Heat, in which both teams won 2 quarters, and three of them ending with less than a 2 point difference.
So the third 36-29 quarter was key for Miami's win.
Durant scored 49 points on us, but that was something we were counting on. The goal was to stop the rest of the team better, specially Monta Ellis, and we came short on that one.
McGee had another pretty efficient night, scoring 32 points on 13 from 15 shooting, in just 30 minutes of action. Ricky also finished with great numbers: 27 points, 12 asists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. But the effort wasn't enough, and the Heat managed to wet the W back to Miami.
Already looking for the next game against the champs, as we won't rest till winning or at least getting the season series even. Too much history between this two franchises, even with OP gone
W: Oklahoma City Thunder 113 @ 128 New York Knicks
Ricky Rubio: 14 points, 17 asists, 4 steals
Kosta Koufos: 34 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks off the bench
Great effort from the Knicks, scoring no less than 128 on the Thunder.
We once again lost the first quarter, 36-27 this time, but won the next three.
Most people thought this summer that we were going to have scoring problems this season. I wasn't lying when I assured scoring was the least of my problems with this team, and this game and the 112.7ppg (5th overall) this season proves I was right not worrying about it.
Back to the game, Rubio once again orchestrated the offense for us, dishing out 17 asists while only turning the ball twice. Meanwhile he also had 4 steals, that added to the 20 in total for the Knicks, and were translated into easy baskets for our team (46 fast break points for the Knicks). In fact the 34 TOs by the Thunder (7 by Lowry, 9 by Brewer, 5 by Davis, 4 by George and so on till 34) were key in our win.
Finally we need to mention Koufos' big game, with 34 points off the bench on a 15 from 23 shooting night. The Thunder were meant to have advantage at the center position with Dwight and Hibbert, but they both combined for just 17 points, (same as Mcgee alone, although he just played 25 minutes because of foul trouble) while Kosta scored easily on them.
