Amare thought he was worth more than 20 a year?  Is he signed yet?  All the teams with that much cap room don't have that anymore. So now he's going to make less over the life of a MLE than he would have by taking his final year....

Completely agree - engine was wierd about both him and Channing, but as long as everyone understands that the engine can and does work this way, we're all ona level playing field. Teams that are concious about cap space next season won't commit to 2 year vet min contracts and, as a result, will lose out. At the end of the day, more money is more money.

Depends how deep the commissioners want to go. If an agent thinks it's better to take the PO, like Amare should have, then they just have agents make the decision before advancing the file and remove the option flag and add that last years contract in. Same if they don't think. Remove the flag.

Amare shoulda been the 2nd most valued UFA in the offseason given his age/ production.

Goes to show you the real life value perception vs actual CSL performance.

Easily shoulda been signed before Dirk Kobe West etc.

Yeah, Amare should have been signed days ago...That's a little...odd if you ask me.

Ballers Inc. takes their time making sure that teams have ample time to up their offers. I was in a Danny Granger bidding war for days. Amare definitely has offers on the table. He turned down my 2 year, 5M deal from the Pacers because there was a far better one on the table already. I can only imagine there's a bidding war going on.

Hate to nag, and want the commissioners to do this at their leisure, but when do the rosters and trades and signings actually become official?

Once were done with FA

FA has run its course in my view, should have like a 24-48hr deadline to get the rest of the guys signed then have the leftovers/ holdouts just be bid on like last season.

Interest in them and negotiations for guys who are apparently signing for a few million or vet deals after the deadline should just be done by the engine at this point.

FA/ PA has been great all around and has run its course as evidenced by the players/ salaries being signed and the PA interaction.

Yeah, this should end soon. 24 hour deadline would be ideal so we can just get through this, there's no reason to wait any longer.

I agree. Lets get this season started to keep the activity high.

I think we should be looking at TC on Wednesday and hoping that we move on to the regular season by Friday. I have zero inside info on this, just my personal thinking.

Nope, coaches are not extendable.

PM Dylan with the player you want to sign to fill out your roster (will be 1 year minimum contract). If he has finished FA already, we'll do it at the start of the season.

And about the trade rule that allows you to get bigger ontracts if above salary cap it's finally a 125% like posted or a 150%?

Yeah i've seen that also. An extra 0 in there somewhere to make the cap just over $600m. I'm sure it will be changed back before next sim

We will be posting a comprehensive and definitive CBA here shortly. 150% will be in play for teams below the luxury tax.

The reason the cap is higher on the HTML and File then usual is because I had to raise it to do all the signings and the 4 team trade correctly. It will be back to normal before the first sim.

Im still missing Seth Curry on my roster, like posted I wanted to cut Korver to sign Curry for three years..
And Im still missing the second round picks I should have received via trade. Wrote you guys 2 messages some time ago..
So, where to upload my tem, because its not possible here and I will be without internet very very soon.. If there isnt an answer until tomorrow morning, I will send it via Email to Jamal, Dylan and Myles to be save..

Second rounders will appear on rosters after training camp. I messed up a little bit but will fix it when I sim for training camp.
