Rockets Report: Rockets Trade For Jackson

In a move that came out of the blue, the Houston Rockets have agreed to a trade which will send PG Beno Udrih along with 4 2nd RD Picks, picks #58, #60 of the 2014 CSL Draft now underway, and 2 2016 2nd RD Picks via Orlando and Denver.

GM WillyJakkz: We appreciate everything Beno was able to do for our team this past season, we just felt an urgency to gain a younger PG we felt could still develop that would also bolster our bench a bit better on the defensive end and Reggie Jackson is a player we have had an interest in over the past season and we were eventually able to get him. It cost us several 2nd RD Picks but essentially we believe the investment we make into Reggie will be well worth it... Alright thanks guys.

It's been speculated that Reggie Jackson will play a reserve role coming in with the 2nd unit which would now consist of Jackson, Ross, Taylor, Brand, Biyombo though we have heard rumblings that Brand may soon be on his way out of Houston.

Brand, the 15th year veteran also has a Player Option which he may choose to exercise.
