Clippers G Kemba Walker drives to the basket

Andre Iguodala and Terrence Ross were able to hold red hot Kemba Walker who has been on a tear since joining the Clippers and recently signed to a max contract extension to a Clipper low 4pts on 2-12 shooting from the field. The Rockets were able to get the victory as they begin a long month of basketball without Superstar James Harden who broke his wrist bracing himself after slipping in Madison Square Garden a few days ago.

Well uh teams are definitely gonna be gunnin' for us so it's no different than before, it was like that comin' into the season when you're considered one of the favorites and it's gonna be like that whether James is here or not so um, it's a part of the game that we'll have to adjust to and take it one game at a time and it felt great to get a win against a fine team like the Clippers who're always in the elite class year in and year out.... We just have to compete like we did tonight and show guys it's more to us than just James out there... Alright thanks guys.

The Rockets face the Charlotte Hornets then the OKC Thunder Jan. 20 and 22nd respectively as they continue to play without Harden who is out until late February with a broken wrist.

Some local fans have already begun jumping the gun on the victory calling into talk radio saying the Rockets should sit him out til the Playoffs while others have gone as far as to say to trade him.

There something in Houston that i can't seem to solve lol. We should have won this game considering Harden was out but oh well, better luck next time.

Good game again Willy

It's going to be hard for the Rockets to compete for a higher seed in the Western Conference with Harden missing a few games for the second time this season, but if they get healthy once the postseason starts, look out!
