Kenneth Faried Signs Max Contract with Bucks

Kenneth Faried is the first player to officially sign this offseason.

After receiving a maximum contract offer from the Milwaukee Bucks, Faried decided he'd be returning home to perhaps finally get his chance to play with Marc Gasol and company. He hasn't played a full season in Milwaukee yet due to an ACL tear.

He's signed for 5 years, with the maximum contract amount and maximum raises. The 5th year is a player option.

"I'm grateful for this opportunity to really make something happen in Milwaukee. Marc [Gasol] and I feel like we haven't had the chance to really show everyone how dominant we can be," Faried said in a press conference.

Faried averaged 13.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game last year.

Faried is a nice young player, but i don't think he's worth a max deal..
Interesting decision from the Bucks.. Contract aside, they do have a nice frontcourt.. Hope Dwight can handle them!

Good deal for both sides, Im sure MKE would have lost Kenneth if they wouldnt have offered a Max.. 
Riot will add some shooters and this team should be able to fight for a playoff spot.

Had to secure him after everything that has happened. We see Faried as a franchise talent, and moving forward with him and Harrison as the cornerstones is something we're excited about.

If he stays healthy he can be a beast.

I don't think all that was necessary but nice to see him get a good deal.

Now let's see if he plays up to it.
