Hey guys, how are you doing... (Huge smile) Well I gotta say, that was the best $13M we've ever spent (crowd laughs) cause without Bargnani, we don't make it to the Finals...simple as that... other players were of course highly involved, I felt Bargnani was the determining factor though and the amount of revenue we generated through television, ticket and jersey sales since of course this is a business and the fan support we gained was immense... Very proud of the team and the position we're in both player and staff-wise as well as financially... Well we started out with guys like Raymond Felton, JaVale McGee, Marcin Gortat, Evan Turner, and Reggie Evans, guys we highly valued around here and we were able to land eventually land Tristan Thompson, Manu Ginobili, Bismack Biyombo, and of course Andrea... Yes definitely, had we sent Manu to Utah we likely don't make the Finals as well... good for us the deadline passed (laughs)... Well James has been tremendous all season long and upped his game even moreso on the Playoffs and the Finals putting on an MVP performance throughout the Playoffs if you ask me, it just wasn't meant to be...
Well we feel the state of the team is in great shape moving forward and from a personal standpoint I feel it's imperative to keep our key core guys together to make another run at the Finals as winning the title is our ultimate goal and after tasting some success we want to actually sit down at the table and eat the entire meal now to be frank... I'll sit down with ownership and of course Coach Tomjanovich and as a collective we'll see how the numbers work out and see what strategies we can come up with and I'll do my best to ultimately get the guys or keep the guys we feel will attribute to our continued success in both the short and long term...
Ultimately our goal is to win and in order to win you have to have the players, the talent to develop the players which of course falls on the staff, and an environment and philosophy condusive to building a winning culture and I feel Houston provides that...
Alright thanks guys, it's been a fantastic journey this past season and we hope to be fortunate enough to continue doing so... see you at the draft...

It honestly baffles me that you had the run you did - it's a testament to your abilities with the engine.
Just.. never ever would you expect a Finals team to field a Bargnani/Thompson frontcourt lol.

Yeah, if I'd been told there was a team that would beat both LAC and OKC in the Playoffs last year, I would've been skeptical no doubt.

Appreciate it though I can't take credit in its entirety.
I looked specifically at OKC and as a GM said what skillset of players can compete and maybe beat them, studied Bargs outside shooting (though not my optimum choice he was the guy I could easily get) along with Thompson high ORB rating and figured he'd do great on his own in the paint rebounding Bargs Harden Iggy and Manu's misses since Bargs could drag Dwight out the paint etc
Also having guys with high FT %'s helped as my old lineup couldn't shoot for shit pretty much which can cost us close games.
The rest was simming on 2k and luck

I very much agree. Was honestly completely shocked that Houston made it to the Finals at all. Didn't think they had what it took, but I was proven wrong. Great job Willy.
Re: The BlastOff!: Season Review
Thompson is a beast, it was Barg who really surprised me. I'm going to call this a fluke, partially due to the fact that I won't ever really believe in Barg and partially because I also value good PG play too much to put a guy like Ginobili at point.

You don't fluke your way into wins over the Clippers and Thunder (winning 3 straight elimination games).
You were however an inspiration for doubting Manu at PG so we definitely appreciate that here in Houston.
Think I had the Heat figured out as well just ran outta time.
