2014 Swish Mock Draft - Pick #9 (SAC)

With the 9th overall pick in the 2014 Swish Mock Draft, the Sacramento Kings select Dario Saric from Croatia.



As mentioned in the previous article about the Kings, the team really needs talent at every position, preferably a wing with Ed Davis, Perry Ellis, and Michael Carter-Williams on board. They need high upside guys, and no one is a better fit than the 21-year-old multi-talented Croatian, who looks to be climbing the draft boards with the latest combine results of his peers being less than spectacular.

He's got legit size at 6'10" and is a high-IQ guy with a versatile scoring game and the ability to make plays on that side of the court. He brings a lot of what the Kings desperately need in that regard, and though he may never become great defensively, his terrific size as a wing should more than make up for it.

Interesting.. Curious to see how far my man Gary could drop. Thought he will be gone at #7. have to say I didnt like what I saw when I scouted him

With no picks this year, I haven't really scouted anybody - so from an outsiders perspective, I have to say the draft related media is VERY confusing.

It seems I can trust absolutely none of it, per everyone's comments in OP's swish mock draft. Disturbing, to say the least.

Ive scouted a lot and Im confused myself:D.. Maybe OP wants to smokescreen some of us:)? Thougt saric will be a pick somewhere between 11 and 14

Once again, don't agree with Swish. I don't think Saric is a real difference maker type player that Sac might be looking for. I think he could be a Gerald Wallace lite type player, but I'm not a huge fan of this guy this early.

This draft class is pretty weak outside the top guys though, so I can see the guys after maybe the top 7 or 8 as interchangeable.
